Quote:

But vaccines have played a substantial role in reducing death rates too. An article in the Journal of the American Medical Association compared the annual average number of cases and resulting deaths of various diseases before the advent of vaccines to those occurring in 2006. Before an effective diphtheria vaccine was developed, for example, there were about 21,000 cases of the disease each year, 1,800 of them leading to death. No cases or deaths from the disease were recorded in 2006.

Paraphrase:

When the vaccine was created, there was a lot of deaths but after that,no deaths were reported

My Ideas:

This will help me because it shows proof that vaccines are not bad and that they are very helpful towards everybody.

Quote:

A significant proportion of Americans believe it is perfectly all right to put other people at risk of the costs and misery of preventable infectious diseases. These people are your friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens who refuse to have themselves or their children vaccinated against contagious diseases.

Paraphrase:

Some perentage of the Us population exposes other people to diseases by not taking vaccines.

My Ideas:

This will help me to prove that if you dont put vaccines then you are risking other people to get the diseases.

Quote:

The Institute of Medicine is an impartial group of the world's leading experts that advises Congress on science issues. After reviewing more than 200 studies in 2004 and more than 1,000 studies in 2011, the consensus report strongly stated that the evidence did not show a link between vaccines and autism.

Paraphrase:

The institute of medicine made a lot of studies to prove that vaccines do not cause any bad things.

My Ideas:

This quote will help me with my essay because it is important tinformation that will help support my argument.

Quote:

Parents often first notice the behaviors of autism when their child is 18-24 months old—the age by which most childhood vaccines have been given. Because of this, many parents incorrectly associate vaccination with the onset of autism

Paraphrase:

People often believe that vaccines cause autism but the true reasons are not fully understood.

My Ideas:

This quote will help me because it shows that people may believe that vaccines cause autism but they dont.
