#1 Divergent- over millions of years, tectonic plates may move many hundreds of kilometers away from both sides of a divergent plate boundary.
#2 Convergent- where two or more plates move forward and collide. A famous convergent plate boundary is the Sunda Double Trench. It is found in the indian ocean and it reaches a depth of 24,440 feet.
#3 Transform- when two plates are sliding past each other.
