During the first few years of the industrial revolution was the worst for the people poorest pf the poor. The Government set up poor houses. These house were made for people who could'nt afford to live in a cleanly enviorment. Children were heavily used there during the first years of factories ect. They were only paid 1/10th of earnings. Working barefooted and and being in those trechours surroundings made children really siclkly, Had a negative affect on them. Workers were worked overly hard.
