Kenya has some of the same holidays as us Americans . New Year's Day, Easter, Labor Day, Madaraka Day, Mashujaa Day, Jamhuri Day (12 Dec.), Christmas, and Boxing Day (26 Dec.). These are the holidays that we celebrate.  You speak either English or Swahili in Kenya. 44.35 million people live in Kenya.

Here is one of the most common recipe in Kenya Ingredients:
4 onions, chopped
Cooking oil
4 tomatoes, chopped
2 green peppers, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
Black pepper
Coriander
1 pound beef, cut into small chunks
Seasoning salt
Curry powder
Salt
Directions:
Fry onions in oil until they turn brown. Add tomatoes and green pepper. Add carrots, black pepper, and coriander.
Wash meat and sprinkle it with seasoning salt. Add meat when the carrots have become slightly soft.
When meat is almost done cooking, add some curry powder and salt to taste.
Serve with pilau rice.
