Consent of the Governed and Unalienable Rights

I feel like unalienable rights matter because without them the government could make decisions that the people may not agree with. Also if it was like that the country wouldn't be as free and we might have less rights

Consent of the Governed and Unalienable Rights

By:Malachi Hughes

Unalienable rights are rights given to Mankind by God and that there are certain things that the Law cannot take from the people. The Consent of the Govern is the people under the Government have a word it what  goes by votes and Elections.

A just Government needs Consent of the Governed because of they want people to agree with them and like having the government they won't complain. Also as the Decelerations states if they don't like the government the people have the right to overthrow it.

It is one of the governments main purposes to protect our unalienable rights.

They are still true today because we still have  voting and elections to choose our government.
