Obsessive Compulsive Disorder


OCD is when you obsess over something, causing you to get anxiety about it and make repetitive habits.  At most 3 million people in the US have it (iocdf.org).  If you are bothered by things that shouldn't bother you, and act compulsively to fix it, people will know that you have OCD.  They have medications to help deal with the symptoms, and classes to help you get over it.  Taking a class is the most effective way to get over it completely, because medication just hides the problem.  Visiting the International OCD Foundation can teach you all about the signs and symptoms of OCD, plus what people with OCD are thinking.
