Iberian Lynx

Keon Bailey   7th Period

The Iberian Lynx is a species of cats similar to a bob cats. Their fur is grey with stripes on their back and sometimes spots. It lives in the woodlands of Spain. The Iberian Lynx eats rabbits, ducks, geese, juvenile deer, and fallow deer. The Iberian Lynx is an apex predator, meaning nothing eats it. Decomposers will decompose it after it dies.

This species of Lynx is endangered because people hunt it for its fur. Also it is dependent on the wild rabbits for food, but these are less and less common. It is classified as criticaly endangered. There are at about 200 left in the wild.
