By Rainbow Rowell
Project by: Jacki Gorton
Protagonist: Cather "Cath" Avery
Antagonists: Cath's own anxiety, her twin sister Wren's alcoholism and her dad's antagonist
Quote: "Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated" -Confucius
Theme: If you choose to live your life in bitterness and hatred, you'll never have fun later on in life
Recommendation: I would recommend "Fangirl" to anyone teenage girl, or a boy even, who is going through very tough changes. This book teaches you a little about the struggles of being in college, living without your parents, and having to deal with life on your own. I really recommend this book to anyone going to or already in college, but mostly, I recommend this to anyone who has a very close relation ship to family, maybe even a twin perhaps.
