Genetic Disease..

Environmental Disease..

Genetic Diseases: a disease that is caused by an abnormality in an individual's DNA. Genetic disorders can be caused by a mutation in one gene, by mutations in multiple genes, by a combination of gene mutations and environmental factors.  By changing a gene's instructions for making a protein, a mutation can cause the ...these mutations have very serious effects, they are incompatible with life. There are very few if any genetic diseases that are curable. However, many genetic diseases are treatable, People with PKU have an enzyme that is unable to convert phenylalanie to tyrosine resulting in a build-up of phenylalanine in the body. The PKU is an example of curable/treatable.

Environmental disease: diseases that can be directly attributed to environmental factors. Disease caused by physical factors in the environment, such as skin cancer caused by excessive exposure to ultraviolet radiation in sunlight, or exposure to chemicals such as toxic metals. A lack of safe water, inadequate excreta disposal facilities, poor hygiene, poor living conditions and unsafe food can all cause diarrhoeal diseases. Climate can affect disease transmission in a variety of ways, most contain..

that is caused from alcohol, drugs or other environmentalfactors can be “cured” by ceasing use of the drug or alcohol. It  is treatable but not curable and there are various methods by which ED can be managed. Once the disorder is under control, if the learned practices are not continually implemented the problem can resurface

life changing Disease

Life changing disease: Most diseases involve many genes in complex interactions, in addition to environmental influences. An individual may not be born with a disease but may be at high risk of acquiring it.  such as smoking, overuse of alcohol, poor diet, lack of physical activity and inadequate relief of chronic stress are key

These are called silent mutations. But the mutations we hear about most often are the ones that cause disease. Some well-known inherited genetic disorders include..., cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anemia
