Cite Your Evidence
Today you will be reading a new article and citing text evidence to support your responses to the questions provided. This will serve as a third check for our Citing Text Evidence learning goal.
Click on the button below which will take you to the article for today. You may need to use the arrow buttons to navigate to page 4. In the lower right-hand corner, you can select the Lexile level appropriate to your ability, as well as choose to listen to the article, as you read it. If you do this, please be sure you use your ear buds! Happy reading!
Click on the button below which will take you to the interactive questions from "Two Days With No Phone". Follow the directions at the top of the sheet. If you run out of room in the boxes, create a Google Document that you can overflow onto. Before answering the questions, use the highlighting tool, in the lower left-hand corner of the magazine article, to highlight the actual text-based evidence which supports the answers to the questions. BE SURE TO PRINT YOUR RESPONSES AND EVIDENCE SHEET WHEN YOU ARE DONE! You will turn your sheet into the basket when finished (be sure you've typed your name!)
