What is tissue?
A tissue is basically a group of similar cells specialized to perform a specific function.

The 4 Types of Tissues
The Four Primary Tissues types are:
-Epithelium
-Connective
-Nervous
-Muscle

Epithelium
-This tissue covers the entire body surface and forms the lining for most internal cavities.

Connective
-Tissue that connects, supports, binds, or separates other tissues/ organs.

Nervous
-It is a tissue composed of neurons.

Muscle
-
Highly specialized to contract, or shorten, to produce movement.
