Since when discriminating someone because of his/her sexual orientation, or for any reasons, is something good? People think they’re doing the right thing and are becoming good citizens when they’re against gay people. But really, all they’ve done is lowering their image, going from a civilized human to someone with no different ways of seeing the world. A lot of organisations have been fighting for many years for the rights of gay people. An example of an organisation is the Lesbian Gay Bisexual & Transgender Project, better known as LGBT Project.
The LGBT Project works for an America free of discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. The ACLU, American Civil Liberties Union, has a duty, which is to make sure that all of the LGBT people have equal opportunities to be part of the civil society. LGBT should never experience discrimination whether it's about employment, housing, or in businesses and public places.
I personally think that gay people should be able to do what everyone in our society is doing without any execeptions.
