His full name is Joseph Rudyard Kipling. Kipling lived in Vermont. He also wrote the jungle book in 1894. His daughter died at the age of six with pneumonia. Lastly, his father was named John Lockwood Kipling.

Mongooses (the plural of mongoose is in fact mongooses) usually have brown or grey fur, and some species have striped coats. These creatures live in burrows around Africa and parts of southern Asia. These are terrestrial animals, but some are semi-aquatic and others prefer to live in tree tops. Lastly, they are famously known for attacking venomous snakes.
