Words of Advice

  • In the December 1977 issue of Family Health, Arnold said that "From the time I was 10 years old, I wanted to be the best at something.... I had visions of being really great"(5).
  • "I wanted to be the best bodybuilder in the world, and I realized that drinking and fighting were counterproductive to my goals"(15).
  • "I suppose I have competition in my heart, my head, but when I hear rejection, I am inspired to try to triumph"(40).

After reading my biography and researching about Arnold, I realized how much of a impact Arnold made on our country and myself. He forces me to do my absolute best in anything I do. Without him, our country wouldn't be as fit as it is, we'll all be eating McDonald's on the couch and watching TV. I'd like to thank him for his work for our world and for his impact on me.
