Madison City Elementary Spanish

Bethany Powell, Joelle Jones, and Karelin Rivera

In November our students were busy reviewing and learning common food and drink vocabulary.  In December we are learning winter vocabulary.  The teachers dressed up like a snowman to practice vocabulary.  Students are also singing Frosty the Snowman in Spanish.

What's new with MCS Spanish?

Check us out at our Spanish website! We have even added a Quizlet link with fun and games to play! Your MCS Elementary Spanish teachers have started blogging. You can read those there, too!

Señora Powell taught the Pavo song to her 1st grade students at Horizon. They sang it  in Spanish at their Thanksgiving Program! Go Horizon First Grade Students! Wow!

Señora Rivera is currently teaching Spanish to the Madison Elementary Extended-Day children. How exciting for her to spend the extra time with the students each week!
