Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks revered as one of the most influential people of the twentieth century,  Rosa Parks is best known for her role in the Montgomery Bus Boycott in 1956. After marrying barber and local political activist Raymond Parks in 1931,Rosa became an active member of Montgomery’s NAACP where she served as youth director and later as the secretary.  She had become a symbol of the Civil Rights Movement because she refused to give up her seat.

Rosa Parks was very brave, quiet and a good leader. I think she was a good leader because she stood up for colored people. She was also a caring person because she cared for equal rights. Rosa Parks was brave because she stood up for her-self during the racist time.I admire Rosa Parks for what she did.
