"Success is not counted by how high you have climbed but by how many people you brought with you." - Wil Rose -- This is true in each moment of each day, being intentional with where each child is, what their next goal is and how to meet it - whether it is social, emotional or academic. Sometimes the greatest success for the day is hugging that one who desperately needs to feel loved just because - no strings attached. Only then will their well be filled in order to do the next thing. When I can see what that need is, and meet it in the moment, then that is success that has brought someone with me.

Those who are hardest to love need it the most. There is always a reason someone acts the way they do. Dig deep and know everyone needs love. Usually that's the one thing that can change them from being hard to love to being easy to love. They just need to know someone does.

It wasn't a part of your list, but I really LOVE this one: "Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day."... Some days, I feel like I really need to go searching for that "good" part, but I have yet to not be able to find it :)

"People of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things." I like this because we can all be initiators of change. We can question kids, recognize the small stuff, and spark the curiosity that will lead them to find answers they are seeking.
