Listeria is found in soil and water and some animals. It can be found in raw milk and things made from raw milk. It can grow in cold temperature but can be killed by pasteurization and cooking it.

People who are at risk is pregnant women. If you are pregnant the antibiotics will help not to affect the fetus.

Symptoms may be fever, stiff neck, confusion, weakness, vomiting, and sometimes diarrhea. You can have it for days or weeks.If you have the symptoms of stiff neck and fever consult your doctor and get antibiotics to help.
