Mrs. Rosa Parks was a women of courage, bravery, determination, and strength. Rosa Parks is best not for her brave act of refusing to give up her seat on a segregated bus in Montgomery, Alabama. By defying and breaking the harsh Jim Crow laws which discriminated against the rights of Black people in the South, Mrs. Parks began the greatest movement in American History: The Civil Rights Movement. This movement took place on the 1960s and early 1970s and was led by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and others.
