Play and Learn in the Tech Sandbox

Let's review

We will call our tools devices.
Where are they?
How did you find them?
Where will you find them tomorrow?

Let's talk about Digital Citizenship

Respect yourself.
Respect others.
Only use your stuff.
Only Señor McCright may add apps to the iPads.

Let's create a talking image

Click on ChatterPix and follow directions.
Here is my example:

Let's make a teaching photo

Click on the Skitch icon.
Use Skitch to write on the photo.
Here is my example:

Let's make a collage

Click on Pic Collage and mash 3 or 4 photos into a single collage.
Here's my example:

Let's make a teaching pencil sketch

Use PencilSketch to edit a photo.
Then use Skitch to write on the Pencil Sketch.

Let's evaluate an app

Every day you must evaluate the apps and tools you used.  Tell Señor McCright what you liked and did not like.

Let's talk about Brain Breaks

When you want to take a break from your project you may use one of these apps:
-Penguin Math
-Google Maps:  find your house, your school, New York City
-Khan Academy:  practice your Math
-Duolinguo:  learn a language

Let's reflect

Everyone enjoyed Chatter Pix.
Comments:  It was funny.
It made us all laugh.
We had fun.
It was creative.
It was challenging.
We wrote on images with Skitch.
It was challenging because we had to plan.
It was fun because we could work with partners.
It was exhausting because we had to use different tools like arrows, words and colors.
It was fun taking pictures.
Everyone enjoyed making images with Pic Collage.
It was fun because we could use weird pictures and because we could use more than 3-4 pictures.
It was funny because we could use pictures of ourselves.
We could make thousands of pictures with Pic Collage.
