Meaning of Autotrophs and Heterotrophs.

Autotrophs

Any organism capable of self-nourishment byusing inorganic materials as a source of nutrientsand using photosynthesis or chemosynthesis as asource of energy, as most plants and certainbacteria and protists. An example of this is a "weird" plant. This "weird" plant can produce food in varieties of ways. Such as photosynthesis and chemicals.

Heterotrophs

An organism requiring organic compounds for its principal source of food. Heterotrophs are you actually. Mostly everything around us is a heterotrophs. Heterotrophs are things that eat autotrophs. Examples are, carnivores and omnivorous.
