Thurgood Marshall

Thurgood Marshall was the first African-American to be a U.S. solicitor general. Thurgood was also a U.S. Supreme Court Justice. He was a advocate for the Civil Rights movement. Thurgood Marshall broke down racial barriers for African-Americans. He ended segregation at schools too.

Thurgood Marshall was a intelligent,  proud, peaceful, brave, and was confident. His goal was to end racial segregation at schools and succeeded. Which shows he is capable and determined. He also was a U.S. Supreme Court Justice which also shows that he is intelligent and talented. Thurgood Marshall was and advocate for the Civil Rights Movement. All of these show good characteristics about Thurgood Marshall.
