Centripetal Forces

What is it?

Centripetal forces are the ideas and attitudes for a country/state that show support for that state. An example is the way the American people act on the Fourth of July despite a general disdain for government figures the rest of the year.

The opposite would be centrifugal forces which are forces responsible for the attitudes of people that lead to countries or states being separated.
