WHO WAS MILTON HERSHEY?

By: Justin Wolfson

Hershey's Chocolate Bar

This Hershey bar is meaningful because is was Milton's first chocolate bar. Also, it sold for 5 cents and mostly everyone could have the chocolate bar because it was cheap.

Hershey Kisses

These Hershey Kisses are meaningful because when they would land on the conveyor belt it sounded like kissing someone. This is how Hershey Kisses got their name.

Nestle Milk Chocolate

Nestle chocolate

Nestle milk chocolate is meaningful because Milton wanted to make chocolate as sweet as Nestle's.  If it wasn't for Nestle, Hershey's sweet milk chocolate wouldn't be alive.

This picture is meaningful because it is Milton's school he built.  It was only for orphan boys.  Sometimes Milton would give the boys a tour of the chocolate factory and give them chocolate.

Kitty Hershey

This picture of Kitty Hershey is meaningful because she was Milton's wife.  She was very important in his life and when she was very ill Milton did not go back to the factory, he stayed in the hospital with Kitty.
