There was a bird with a big round body and little wings named Round Bird. Round Bird was a bird that wished he could fly but was not able to. He tried many things every day like jumping out of trees but he would always fall into a pile of leaves that he made. One day, Round bird realized that no matter how hard he tries he will never be able to fly.
One implication that you can make from reading this story is that no one person has the same qualities. In the story it says, "he wishes hard and tries hard too, there are just some things some birds aren't meant to do".
I can relate to this because no two people are the same even me and my brother we don't even enjoy the same types of activities and my friend's cousin had identical twins but they still have different size feet and hands.
Another implication from the story Round Bird is that everyone has flaws, there are some things you cannot do that others can. In the text it states, "the challenge for Round Bird, then, is to find those special things that only special birds can do."
I can relate to this because there is things that I can do that some of my friends cannot; for example I can dunk and my friends cannot.
Is there something you cannot do that someone else can?
