About Amrita Dutta Gupta
Amrita Dutta-Gupta, who has served in an array of high-level positions over the course of her career, possesses extensive experience in the realms of marketing and brand strategy. Most recently, Amrita Dutta-Gupta worked as a Global Marketing Strategy and Business Intelligence Consultant with Sitel, an international management-outsourcing operation.
In 2011, she earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. While at Vanderbilt, she participated as a Market Research Project Team Member in a 2010 study-abroad program to Shanghai, China, and served as President of the Global Business Association and Senator in the Owen Student Government Association. Prior to beginning her graduate work, Amrita Dutta-Gupta earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2003, also from Vanderbilt University, majoring in economics and political science. She also participated in Vanderbilt's International Studies program in London, where she studied international trade and finance and has completed coursework through the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile in Santiago.
Amrita Dutta-Gupta has garnered numerous honors over the course of her career. A Fellow of Vanderbilt University's Cal Turner Program for Moral Leadership in the Professions, she also holds the 2011 Flournoy A. Coles, Jr. Prize for Outstanding Performance in International Management studies. In her private life, she supports an array of philanthropic initiatives that include the Red Cross, the American Cancer Society, and the Delta Gamma Foundation, as well as organizations like Kiva, Oasis Center, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Additionally, she maintains ongoing memberships in the Delta Gamma Vanderbilt Alumni Association, the Vanderbilt Global Business Association, Net Impact, and the National Association of Women.
