About Austin O'Such
Austin O’Such is an accomplished baseball player who has experience at the college and semi-pro levels. He played summer ball for the Kitsap Blue Jackets in 2011 and the Palo Alto Oaks in 2010. As a student athlete, Austin O’Such previously played with the Roughriders at Yavapai College. A team leader, he was recognized as an ACCAC Player of the Week. He played a key role in helping the Roughriders make it to the Championships of the Valley of the Sun Spring Tournament. Austin O’Such currently plays college baseball with the University of New Mexico. While he received athletic scholarships for other schools, he chose to play for the University of New Mexico due to the team’s unique culture. Beyond his experience as a baseball player, he also holds coaching experience as a former camp counselor at Stanford Baseball Camp.
A native of Los Alto Hills, Austin O’Such graduated from Los Altos High School in 2010 with a 3.4 GPA. His high school sports achievements include earning the Bob Baird Award for demonstrating leadership both on and off the field. Continuing his education at Yavapai College, he completed his Associate of Arts with an emphasis on Business in 2012. Since enrolling at the University of New Mexico, he has not yet declared his major, but is pursuing a business degree. Austin O’Such’s professional experience includes serving as a Marketing and Sales Intern for Spooner Boards in San Diego, California.
In his free time, Austin O’Such enjoys outdoors activities such as hiking, fishing, surfing, and playing sports. He is also an avid traveler who has spent time in Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, Peru, Thailand, and several European countries.
