As owner and president of Biloxi, Mississippi's Warr Properties, Brent Warr purchases and redevelops commercial, residential, multifamily, warehouse, and raw land investment properties. With the company, Brent Warr’s comprehensive real estate services include locating and obtaining financing for real estate investments, developing plans, estimating costs, determining best uses, interfacing with government bodies, negotiating leases, and a variety of related responsibilities.
Mr. Warr became the mayor of Gulfport, Mississippi, following the catastrophic events of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. He worked closely with government officials and agencies while leading the area's reconstruction efforts, and he is credited with playing a critical role in Gulfport's recovery. He currently serves as president of Environmental Protection Systems, which works toward protection and restoration of natural areas following disasters such as oil spills. In this capacity, Mr. Warr has been a speaker and panelist at conferences on disaster response and preparedness.
Brent Warr received his B.A. in business administration from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He is actively involved in his community with organizations including Gulf Coast Community Ministries and the American Heart Association.
