As Managing Director at Martell Capital Group LLC (dba “Irongate”), Casey Federman capitalizes on more than 15 years of professional experience in the Los Angeles real estate industry to provide legal and business oversight of the firm’s real estate development initiatives. Federman joined the firm in 2005 and has since played an instrumental role in Irongate’s work with several notable projects, including Trump International Hotel & Tower at Waikiki Beach Walk. Before joining Irongate, Casey Federman worked in corporate and real estate law during a three-year tenure with Christensen Miller, a major LA law firm that handles real estate acquisitions and dispositions, as well as private placements, mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offerings (IPOs). He also served as an Associate Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions division of UBS Investment Bank in LA.
As an undergraduate, Casey Federman studied economics and diplomatic history at the University of Pennsylvania. A dedicated student, he completed an honors thesis and studied abroad at Oxford University for a semester. In addition, he remained active in the school’s International Relations Honors Society. After graduation, Federman accepted a position as the Coordinator of Corporate Sales for Major League Soccer and later became the Manager of Business Development for the same organization. After relocating to Los Angeles, he enrolled at the University of Southern California, where he earned a Master of Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business and a Juris Doctor from the Gould School of Law. Casey Federman earned a place on the dean’s list at the Marshall School and participated in Gould’s Moot Court Honors Program.
