Marketing Specialist
CCL Industries

At CCL Industries, Charlotte supported the Marketing Department in the development of product materials including print and online media, wrote and edited persuasive and appropriate copy for Automotive OEMs, B2B and direct to consumer web site(s), social media, emails, and mobile applications. Charlotte also coordinated industry trade shows and supported the CCL sales staff.

Charlotte has kept up-to date with web and mobile usage and marketing trends within the industry, utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create product media. She also utilized most applications in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to produce internal and external communications.

Marketing Intern

At Tackk, Charlotte assisted in the development of market penetration strategies, provided online content creation, monitored Tackk board content, assisted in the coordination of student representatives, and currently serves as a brand ambassador.

Cleveland Orchestra

Since January of 2013, Charlotte has been assisting the Cleveland Orchestra with various marketing projects including: the Cleveland Orchestra musicians' 2014 local residency project, the website analysis project (Cleveland Orchestra Marketing Department), the promotion, sales, and content creation for the Student Advantage Program (fall 2014), and the development of the Cleveland Orchestra’s Student Marketing Advisory Committee.

Charlotte has gained first-hand knowledge of working with a professional arts and non-profit organization on a wide-range of levels, coordinating different efforts throughout the process.

Marketing Intern
Vitamix Corporation

During Charlotte's time at Vitamix Corporation, Charlotte assisted the daily needs of the Household Marketing Department and Social Media Manager, including creating meeting notes in Excel for the rest of the department, content creation for recipe books, editing copy for soon to be published materials, and assisting the department needs at training workshops .

Charlotte also lead a team of interns to develop a 2013 promotional calendar that was distributed to all employees as a gift at the 2012 Dedication Ceremony of the Vitamix- Strongsville plant location.

Marketing Intern
Ann Hull LLC

As a Marketing Intern at the Ann Hull Institute, Charlotte researched and analyzed information on male eating disorders. She then compiled the information into a presentation format used in an online learning course for males who wish to seek help via the internet, who may be to afraid to seek help for their eating disorder in person.

Assistant Manager
Schindler's Fabrics, Inc.

At Schindler's Fabrics, Charlotte held an administrative assistant role, coordinating all employees and business duties. Charlotte also had hands-on experience with all daily tasks at Schindler's, ranging from interior decorating consultations, product management, inventory checks, social media monitoring, to daily cleaning duties.

Education and Certifications

During the 2012-2013 school year, Charlotte co-lead the CSU AMA to a great professional year, winning major awards in the process. During the year Charlotte held the Co-President position, the CSU AMA grew in overall membership by over 200%, and instituted the first ever offered certificate programs offered through the AMA at CSU. These programs offered certificates in Career Development and Marketing Research.

Within the same year, the group won a spot in the top 20 schools for their Integrated Marketing Communications plan for Donate Life America, and took home Outstanding Communications and Outstanding Professional Development awards at the AMA International Conference held in New Orleans, LA.
