About Ihsan Shanti
A distinguished pain management specialist, Dr. Ihsan Shanti established a private practice in Houston in 2001, which he registered with the World Institute of Pain the following year. He earned recognition as one of the best doctors in his specialty several years in a row. Outside of his practice, Dr. Ihsan Shanti served as a clinical assistant professor at the Baylor Department of Anesthesiology. Additionally, he worked at the Texas Institute for Rehabilitation and Research. A graduate of Southwest University in Kenner, Louisiana, he holds a doctor of philosophy in health management. As a medical student, he studied at King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, which has earned recognition as one of the top medical schools in the world.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ihsan Shanti has published extensively in publications that focus on pain management. He is currently working on a textbook for pain syndromes, a project that he has undertaken by himself.
Proud of his Moroccan heritage, Dr. Shanti played an instrumental role in the creation of the Moroccan Society of Houston. Additionally, he belongs to the American Moroccan Professionals Association.
