About Jaime Gonzalez

Jaime Gonzalez of San Francisco earned his California general contractor’s license in building and engineering before founding his first construction company in the mid-1990s. From 1994 to 1997, he owned and operated Jaime Gonzalez, dba General Contractor, where he developed a solid customer base working on small-to-large residential and commercial buildings and other projects located throughout Central California. During that time, Jaime Gonzalez also completed training in construction management at California State University, Fresno.

In 1997, Jaime Gonzalez co-founded Explore General, Inc., in Fresno, California. Over the next 13 years, he was President of the multifaceted construction and construction management firm, and oversaw delivery of quality services to private individuals, public entities, and government clients. He also developed expertise in the Code of Federal Regulations and the Federal Acquisition Regulations required for working on projects with all federal agencies and departments. By the end of his tenure with Explore General, he and his executive team had completed $75 million in projects.

Today, Jaime Gonzalez serves as co-founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Mission Constructors, Inc. In 2011, the San Francisco Human Rights Commission awarded his company local business entity (LBE) certification. Mission Constructors also maintains minority-owned status, and a growing project portfolio that recently exceeded $1 million in value.
