About Kurt Grimmelmann

Kurt Grimmelmann spent his formative years ski-racing around New Jersey. Up until eighth grade, he raced at Hidden Valley; upon entering high school at West Milford, he began racing on the school's ski team. Throughout high school and beyond, Kurt Grimmelmann has proven a versatile athlete. He ran cross country at West Milford and continued ski racing in college. He occupies his free time with physical activities; in 2005, he climbed the Grand Teton with his family.


Kurt Grimmelmann holds a degree in environmental studies. With this educational foundation, he pursued occupations where he could apply his knowledge of and passion for skiing and outside work. Since 2003, he has served as a ski tech at Heinos Ski and Cycle, a business located in New Jersey. To better serve his customers, he helps with boot fittings and sells products such as skis, bindings, and boots. He also mounts and tests bindings and is a certified binding technician.

Still based in New Jersey, he owns and operates Alpine Landscape Professionals, which he founded in 2009. The company concentrates on installing plants and hardscapes. Kurt Grimmelmann plays an active role in every facet of the business, from scheduling jobs with clients to directing employees during operations.
