February National MOVchallenge

February is American Heart Month, so we're focusing our National MOVchallenge around MOVing for a healthy heart. Being physically active can help prevent and control heart disease and help you maintain a healthy weight, lower cholesterol, and lower blood pressure. So this month, take steps toward a healthier heart with our February National MOVchallenge!

Move 100 miles and share the love!

Here are the challenge details:

  • Timeframe: Monday, February 3 - Friday, February 28, 2014
  • Goal: 100 miles (an average of ~3.8 miles per day)
  • Rewards: 50 lucky people who hit the 100 mile goal will each receive a colored wristband accessory pack with a red, white, and neon pink band! Gentlemen, if pink isn't your style, share the love and pass your pink band off to a lady friend! ;-) Her heart will appreciate it!
  • Make sure to sync your MOVband by 12 pm EST on Monday, March 3 to make sure your miles are counted!

Join the Movement!

Signing up for the February National MOVchallenge is easy, and anyone with a MOVband that connects online can participate (it's free!). All you need to do is join MOVABLE's National MOVchallenge group from your online account.

To do so, click on the "Join a Group" tab on the bottom right corner of the Activity Dashboard. Type in the invite code NEWYOU and click "Join" - it's that easy!

You can confirm that you successfully joined the group by visiting the "My Groups" tab and and selecting "National MOVchallenge" from the dropdown menu.

Don't worry, you can join anytime until the end of the MOVchallenge. If you're already in the group, you don't need to do anything...just keep moving with us (and sync your MOVband by the deadline)!
