About Robert Bader Coca-Cola

Robert Bader, former strategist with The Coca-Cola Company, currently serves as vice president of market strategy and consumer intelligence for OSI Restaurant Partners, LLC, where he focuses on the marketing activities of the company’s two largest chains, Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Robert Bader has utilized the approaches he employed while at The Coca-Cola Company to achieve success in his current position.

Mr. Bader earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and business from the University of Delaware. He went on to earn his master of business administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, where he was awarded the Roger H. Sherman Academic Scholarship.

In his current role, he developed a foundational research plan for Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba’s Italian Grill, both of which were experiencing declining sales, that helped to reverse the negative trend of both brands. Prior to OSI Restaurant Partners, Robert Bader held strategy and marketing roles at The Coca-Cola Company, Campbell Soup Company, and Johnson & Johnson. While at Coca-Cola, Robert Bader developed a number of important initiatives that helped boost the company's performance, including the drive-through model for Burger King, one of the company’s leading accounts.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Bader possesses a keen interest in military history. He is also an accomplished trumpet player, and he had the opportunity to play at Carnegie Hall during graduation ceremonies for New York’s Stuyvesant High School.

In his spare time, he enjoys reading, exercising, and cultivating his talent as a magician.
