About Samberg Family Foundation
Since 1995, the Samberg Family Foundation has worked to make the world a better place by providing grants for organizations whose missions and strategies align with the Foundation's values. Based in Arlington, Virginia, the Samberg Family Foundation supports initiative through targeted funding in the areas of health, education, and Jewish issues.
The grantmaking organization recognizes the relationship between health and poverty, seeking out organizations that offer maternal, child, and mental health services in low-income communities. Additionally, the foundation emphasizes the importance of education through its support for initiatives involving literacy and early reading programs, as well as enrichment and academic counseling resources for older students.
Focusing on key Jewish values, the foundation also supports individual programs that aim to promote the value of Jewish history and culture. Creating strong connections to Jewish identity, some of the foundation’s past awards have helped young Jewish families, sponsored trips to Israel, and provided programming for the elderly.
