Could Jamestown have been saved with out slaves?

In our opinion Jamestown would have fine. "Many plantation owners advertised for people willing to sell their labor in exchange for a free ride across the Atlantic." Many people "came to the colonies as indentured servants, by free will" "they would sell themselves into temporary slavery" "for a period of usually 5-7 years." If the Owners of the plantations kept advertising they wouldn't of needed to make them permanent slaves. Therefore letting Jamestown be saved without the need of slaves.
