Moon3 Satellite/Loren Naji Invitational One Hour Event, 11am-12pm
Loren Naji of Satellite gallery is presenting 33 artists to Launch Moon3 (cubed) into orbit. Satellite, a new-coming Collinwood gallery created by Loren Naji, invites 33 Cleveland artists to help launch MOON 3 (Cubed), a site-specific and time specific public art installation/sculpture/collaboration. Artists will create stunning art that will be displayed on and become part of the structure of a large room sized cube that will be erected in front of Waterloo Arts, at E 156th St and Waterloo. This erection will take one hour and be done by all participating artists, each donning their own hammer. They will also hang their art at this newsworthy event in front of the community crowd and media. Also, one installation artist will produce an installation in the interior space. Food and beverages will be served. Art will be for sale at this one-time event.
