8 MEH.2.2

Step 1: State the situation:

A not so popular student has invited you to a sleep over at a birthday party on Friday night. You are planning to go. You also get invited to a boy-girl party for Friday night by one of the most popular student at school. Your parent told you that it was your decision but they think you should go to the part you responded to first.

Step 2: List the options:

* You could go to the not so popular kids party because thats the right thing to do

*You could go to the popular kids party and make the not so popular kid sad.

*Or you could make up an excuse to not go to either.

Step 3: Weigh the possible outcomes

*You could chose to go to the unpopular kids birthday and be doing the right thing.

*OR you could go to the popular kids party and get your chance at becoming popular.

step 5: Consider Values

*you are better than hurting someones feelings

Step 6: Evaluate the decision

If it were me i would chose to go to the unpopular kids birthday because you already told them you would go.
