Kumbaya est une chanson écrite par le Réverend Marvin V. Frey (1918–1992) à Portland, Oregon. The Folksmiths incluant Joe Hickerson ont enregistré la première version. Elle a été ensuite popularisée par Joan Baez dans les années 1960.
