Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy is an American punk rock band formed in 2001. The current members of the band are Patrick Stump as the vocalist and guitarist, Pete Wentz as the bassist, Andy Hurley as the drummer, and Joe Trohman as a second guitarist. Their first album, Take This to Your Grave, was released in 2003 and became a success that gained them popularity. Since then, they have released 7 more albums and are planning to release their 9th one, "American Beauty/American Psycho", sometime in 2015. Fall Out Boy songs have also appeared in movies including The Nightmare Before Christmas and Big Hero 6. On September 6, 2014, their single Centuries (album art pictured above) was released and would be the first single for their upcoming album mentioned before. They are also notorious for having ridiculously long song titles, to which they have rather sarcastic responses. In one instance, they took all the vowels out of their song "Thanks for the Memories" and turned it into "Thnks fr th Mmrs". In another, they titled one of their songs "Our Lawyer Made Us Change The Name Of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued".
