The Wonders of the Appalachian Plateau

Do you know what it is like being in the Appalachian plateau? Have you explored the physical features near it? Well, me neither, but I do know some facts about this region. Now we both can learn. The Appalachian Plateau in the Northernmost western area in Georgia. But, the Appalachian plateau is the smallest region in Georgia. It encompasses Dade County. It has an unremarkable distinguished unique landform than the others. It doesn't only include Georgia because it is the "TAG" (Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia) region.

Did you know that the Appalachian plateau attracts tourism? That is one of the MAIN economic activities of the area. The landscape attracts the tourists. The temperature and climate also attracts them. Because if you know an area that has a good climate you would go to it right? Well, that if a lot of people have an opinion like yours, they would come for a visit. The economy itself also has to prove worthy of being attracted to. In this area, the activities in this area is agriculture and coal mining. This area also includes Lookout mountain.

Here are some basic facts about the Appalachian Plateau you may find to be obscure to understand. The Appalachian plateau extending from the Adirondacks in the north through New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee, and Alabama to the Gulf Coastal Plain in the south.It lies between the Central Lowlands to the west and the Ridge and Valley region to the east. Rock layers in the plateau are nearly horizontal, and both anthracite and bituminous coal are extracted by drift mining(what is stated above.). The Appalachian coalfields are the largest in the country. Other important minerals are iron ore, limestone, petroleum, and natural gas. The scenic landscape includes several national parks and forests.
