Spinal Cord Injuries
Spinal cord injuries can be life threatening and or cause complete or partial paralysis. These injuries can be life changing events for the patient. It is important for the nurse to understand what level of the spine affects different movements and function of the body so that they can detect and help diagnose a spinal cord injury.
