What Does Each Part Do?

Roots carry food and water from the soil to the plant.

The Stem works like a straw carrying food from the leaves and roots to the plant.

Leaves use water, air and sunlight to make food for the plant.

Flowers come in different shapes, sizes and colors and makes seeds for the plant.

Basic Needs of a Plant:

Every plant needs water, soil, space, light, and air.
