Mahatma Gandhi and APHG
Mahatma Gandhi was one of the biggest religious figures in history. Human Geography deals with many conflicts, religion being one of them. Gandhi always wanted the Hindus and Muslims of India to coexist. He was dealing with human geography issues his whole life like this. However, they would not always coexist and caused much violence and deaths. Since Hindus were being oppressive towards the Muslims, India split into two, India and Pakistan. He was killed by a Hindu fundamentalist who believed that they could not coexist. His death was a result of religious intolerance, a big part of human geography.
