Adolphus Sowemimo is a highly acknowledged obstetrician and gynecologist with almost two decades of experience. He holds expertise in a variety of procedures, including operative laparoscopy, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, and maternal-fetal medicine. Owing to his expertise and professional experience, he has served as a professional in some of the world's most recognized hospitals. In addition to this, he has proven himself as a savvy hospital administrator.
In 1983, Adolphus Sowemimo earned his medical degree from the University of Ibadan's College of Medicine in Western Nigeria. After that, he accepted a yearlong internship at the University College Hospital Ibadan. Including pediatrics and general surgery, he was exposed to a number of different medical fields, but it was the obstetrics and gynecology that created his interest the most. In 1986, Adolphus relocated to the United Kingdom to further his training. He holds a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada, as well as Fellowships of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (United Kingdom).
