About Advanced Colleges of America
Irvine, California-based Advanced Colleges of America Inc. provides important clinical instructing, job interview coaching, and additional skills training to international medical graduates (IMGs) pursuing placement in US medical residency programs. Affiliated with the AmeriClerkships Medical Society, Advanced Colleges of America (ACA) was the first Advanced Medical Assistant program to receive approval from the State of California’s Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. ACA also holds distinction as the first program of its kind targeted specifically at IMGs. The organization is currently undergoing review for accreditation by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools.
Having helped to match more than 700 IMGs to residency programs over the years, Advanced Colleges of America maintains retention and placement ratings well above the industry average. The organization possesses a 92 percent retention rate and a 75 percent successful residency Match placement rate, while national averages for Match placements generally range from 25 percent to 55 percent. ACA’s rates of success partially stem from its affordability. The group offers a number of tuition reduction packages, some of which do not require credit ratings or co-signers.
