Streeterville is located near the North Side Community Area of Chicago. Some attractions in this area are Navy Pier, John Hancock Center, Children's Museum, and the beach. Most of the resturants in Streeterville are Billy Goat Tavern, Bubba Gump Shrimp, City Porch, Riva Crab House, and the Pita Pit.

Streeterville is named after George Wellington Streeter, who is a gold prospector, bootlegger, and circus ringmaster. In the late 1800's, George Streeter ran his boat into a sandbar, just off the Chicago shoreline during a storm. Landfill dumped and created Lake Shore Drive by Lincoln Park Board.

The different ethnic groups that settled in Streeterville were the Hispanic, Asian, and African Americans. The African Americans settled around 1910, the Asians immigrated around 1870, and Hispanic settled around 1992.

Fun fact: Streeterville is commonly known for the neighborhood east of Michigan Avenue to the lake.
