Dictionary is the only place that success comes before work. Hard work is the price we must pay for success. I think you can accomplish anything if you're willing to pay the price.
This quote is important in my life now because I know that in order to be successful in anything you need to work hard to get there. This will help me in the future because if I become an engineer, you need to work hard to come up with the ideas and designs of your machine.
My role model is Peyton Manning. Even though I have never meet him in real life he still serves as my role model. Currently he plays quarter back for the Denver Broncos and used to play for the Indianapolis Colts. He went to college at the University of Tennessee.
He is influential in my life because in his rookie season he did really bad. He threw the most interceptions by a quarter back in one season than anyone else. Even though is he did bad he didn't give up and kept on playing. Now he is an automatic Hall of Famer and one of the best quarter backs to ever play the game. Except from never giving up, he donated a lot of money to a children's hospital in Indianapolis, that is named after him.
The mean salary for a m bechanical engineer has increased in the past ten years. In the article, "Mechanical Engineer: Salary" by US News, it talks about the salary of a mechanical engineer. In the article it says, "mechanical engineers earned a median salary of $80,580 in 2012" (US News 1). This is important because in the article it also shows a graph with the mean salaries of 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, and 2012. The mean salary of a mechanical engineer in 2004 was $65,440, so the mean salary has increased a total of $15,120 in just ten years. If the jobs are still in demand the salary will keep on increasing. This is important for me because by the time I am able to get a job the mean salary will be even higher then it is now.
