HOW DO NEWTON'S LAWS AFFECT OUR CAR?
NEWTON'S FIRST LAW-
An object in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. An object at rest will stay at rest unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. Our car would've stayed at rest had Will not pushed it, and after Will pushed it, it kept on going for a little while. This is the law of inertia, after a force is applied on an object (like a push) it will keep going until acted upon by an unbalanced force.
NEWTON'S SECOND LAW-
The greater the mass of an object, the greater the force will be required to make said object accelerate. Our car is small, therefore, it did not take much force at all to make it accelerate. However, a massive 19 ton monster truck, like our toy is modeled after, would require a huge amount of force to make accelerate.
NEWTONS THIRD LAW-
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Soon after we applied a push to our car, it slowed down, and eventually, came to a stop. This is because of friction, there was friction between the tires of our car and the surface of the table, eventually causing the car to stop. The action was the push we applied, and the reaction was the friction.
